Empowering Traditional Artisans and Craftspeople of India
PM Vishwakarma is a Central Sector Scheme launched on 17 September 2023 by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). It aims to strengthen and support traditional artisans and craftspeople by providing them recognition, skill training, toolkits, collateral-free loans, and incentives for digital transactions and market access.

Recognized Trades
PM Vishwakarma ID card and certificate issued after verification and enrollment.
₹15,000 tool kit e-voucher provided to enhance productivity.
Collateral-free loans up to ₹3 Lakh in two tranches at 5% interest.
Applicants must be traditional artisans aged 18+, engaged in one of the 18 family-based trades. They must not be government employees or tax payers. Registration is done via the official portal with Aadhaar, bank account, and trade verification.
